This converter will accept FT-IR data from an
IBM series 9000 computer as output using the IBM 9000 ASCII format only.
After IBM discontinued their analytical instruments division, most IBM 9000
FT-IRs were serviced and supported by Thermo
Scientific. At one time, Thermo
Scientific offered a version of its PC-IR software
that interfaced with the older IBM instruments. The data files from this software were
reportedly stored in the same file format (*.ird) as the files collected from Thermo
Scientific's own instruments. |
