Food Additives FT-IR Spectral Libray

| The Food Additives Library
contains 519 FT-IR spectra of condensed-phase materials that are on the GRAS (Generally
Recognized As Safe) list of U.S. government-approved food additives. The spectra were
extracted from the Aldrich Condensed Phase and Sigma Biochemical FT-IR Libraries. The
spectra were acquired with 2 cm-1 digital resolution and then mathematically
deresolved when converted to Thermo Scientific Omnic library format.
In this library the FEMA (Flavor & Extract Manufacturers Association) number, the
CAS (Chemical Abstracts Services) registry number, when known, and the molecular formula
are all available on-line. |
